So...a couple of things...
One, here it is...the mystery knit.

Pattern: One Skein Wonder from Stefanie Japel
Yarn: Leftover yarn from the Hourglass sweater, Noro Cash Iroha in Turquoise
Amount: 55g
Needles: US5 circulars
Start date: 14 May 2007
Completion: 16 May 2007
Mods: I knit the sleeve seed stitch in the round...one less thing to seam up, right?
I can't really believe I knit this...no really. ME in a shrug...a shrugette, if you will. Yeah, if the picture wasn't here, I wouldn't believe it either. It looked extremely obscene when I had a tank top on and from the side, so um, here it is with the t-shirt on, front view. Right, so I'm not sure that I would wear this outside of the confines of my home, but it is very comfortable.
Some things are clear:
- I do have the biggest shoulders and back on the planet for a girl my height. (Picture from back view wasn't included.)
- Cash Iroha stretches much too easily and a yarn with a little recoil would be marvy.
- This was knit in size 16" to accomodate Cash Iroha's ever changing thickness and gauge, but I think it should have been knit a bit larger.
Two, see this?

Okay, so imagine me, with my bum shoulder...trying to take OFF the OSW. OMG OMG OMG. Trying to get it off my left shoulder was almost comical. Practically turning in circles and jumping up and down trying to get this thing OFF of my back!!! It is the sole reason that I cannot wear the over-the-head sport bras. I must wear the kind that fastens in the back b/c that left shoulder just will not cooperate. Ow my shoulder is throbbing now. Stop laughing.
