Yes.  It is true.  I am still alive.

The sore/swollen throat thing really knocked me out, put me behind at work and stressed me the hell out.  I knew I wasn't feeling good when I couldn't even watch my favorite music videos or DVDs during my recovery.  It's gross, there were a lot of people at work with the same thing.  Creepy how that works...and we weren't even in the same bldg or campus. 

Then came the 4th of July holiday and some much-needed time off...from everything except for cake.

So, back to the nbat...I had knit the collar a couple of weeks ago and um.  It flopped down!  What the...?!!  I was too out of it earlier to even attempt to retry and I guess I needed a break from that as well.  I picked it up again tonight, frogged the collar and tried it again...I knit 6 rows instead of the prescribed 5 and started back in.  I have to say it's laying much flatter already...check it out.

ignore the blue behind the brown up there, the collar isn't finished on the back yet.
