Yay! Look what arrived today!

I have to say that color cards are such a great idea...not only can you see the color for real, but you can also get the feel of the yarn types!! eg: I wouldn't have ever thought that the McTaggart Tweeds would be as soft as they are!! Or how close yet completely different Mallard and Meadow are...
The spiffy fancy font, however, is leading my (not-even-close-to-80-yr-old) eyes to read things wrong..."10 peanut kid mohair..." um, WHAT?! no, try "10 percent kid mohair." I knew that just couldn't be right. hahahaha!
These are from beaverslide dry goods...
After a fruitless search for a separating zipper (who would have thought it would be so hard to find?!) for the simple zipper sweater last weekend, I called for a colorcard from zipperstop today. I think I'll probably end up having to get one from there!

I am glad to know there will be a zipperstop color card within driving distance of me.
