Okay, I don't really have a knitting-related delivery (new spiffy pink sports bra and a new dri-fit top from Title 9 -- yay!), but I do have knitting news.
I didn't work on the Simple sleeve last night, just couldn't bear it for some reason (I am seriously dreading weaving in the ends for the sweater...ugh.), so I picked up something else.
I started this the other night...but didn't say anything about it. Stealth knitting perhaps? ha.

Can you guess what it is? Okay, look below!

Little pink pants for a friend's baby girl that is coming soon! I'm using Alison's pattern. They're turning out pretty well I think! I'm using Brown Sheep cotton/wool for this project. I wanted to try the Knitpicks Shine, but I didn't have the patience to order and then wait for it to be delivered. Wish we had that stuff locally!
I don't want to even admit this, but I knit this completely wrong when I started (geez!). I missed the "every 6 rows" thing and increased every alt row and well, that made them into kind of a baby hotpants kind of thing. eek. I knew that just could not be right and sure enough. ribbit.
10 peanut kid mohair, remember? I swear I'm losing it.

Ah well, we all have those moments.
I love this pattern! I was thinking about making them, I look forward to seeing the finished product.
