That yarn is yummy! A bummer about the partial skein ...maybe your yarn store would give you the additional amount of yarn you're missing, I mean you bought the whole bag. You would have noticed the difference if you had purchased them individually. Either way, that yarn looks fabulous, I can't wait to see it knitted up and good girl for making the swatch. I always have to (except when I'm making socks) because I knit tightly.

Andrea

I think you should at least let the shop know about the discrepancy.

Christine

oooo, i love that yarn and the color too! I have been coveting it at one of my LYS's. Can't wait to see how it comes out!

Okay, you've punished me by choosing one of my absolute favorite colors. I am jealous.
You should definitely tell the shop about the small hank. I am sure Acorn St. would want to know about the short hank! Either they were shorted by the manufacturer, or someone returned part of a skein (it really does happen). If they have any more of that dyelot, you can exchange that hank/ball.
I just looked up the fiber content of that yarn and now I am super jealous.

Purly Whites

I was at Acorn on Saturday!!! I was the one wandering around with a couple balls of Debbie Bliss cashmerino aran and merino aran wondering if a new mother would prefer soft or machine washable. Of course I have no idea what time it was, definitely afternoon. I love that store. Love the punchcard.

That is some lovely Cash Iroha. I'd at least call up the store and tell them about it.

i agree that you should let the lys know. it is a beautiful color!

Jennifer

did you tell them about the problem yet? I am sure they would do something about it!
