Funny thing, I had finished the socks for my sockapalooza pal weeks ago, but I neglected to say anything about it!! Maybe subconsciously, it's b/c I'm wondering if I should go ahead and quick knit up a different pair for her...these socks, (and yes I keep measuring them to make sure) are per the sizes emailed to me...but I'm just worried that they're going to be too big. Should I knit another pair?

here they are, all done!!
I find Regia yarn to be funny sometimes...I tried to make the socks matching, and it was going great until toward the toe! See how the color scheme goes, dark green stripe, light green stripe, black stripe? But the back sock goes dark green stripe, black stripe, dark green stripe!! and the stripes on the toes are different colors of blue!!

Hooray, finished socks! Love the striping, even if it doesn't match. Certainly all the parts of the sock that will be visible do match. Very weird that the yarn was printed differently.
I'm sure these will be great for you pal, so don't stress your self out about making another pair. Sit back, relax and wait for YOUR new socks to arrive! :)

I like the mismatching!

These look great! The level of matching that you did achieve makes the toes look purposefully unique.

Tania,
I feel the same way. This is my first exchange & I am worried about the fit. But I'm sticking with the pair I made. Yours look great

Tania!...Got my socks and I LOVE them...Yes they fit!!! I'm wearing them right now...perfect!! I'm from a family of big footed creatures!!!ha!
One of my favorite sayings is "symmetry's not everything"...so the bit of reverse color on the toe is true to character...Thank you!..Will post a sock portrait on my blog soon!
